Dear Brian, I am writing this letter today to attest to the durability of your Dura-Loc roofing system. On the evening of July 2, 1997 a storm moved through our area causing considerable damage to trees and buildings in its path. Funnel clouds were observed during the storm although it was not "officially" classified as a tornado. I can tell you it was mighty windy! We lost twelve large trees and numerous smaller ones, the shingled roof of our garage, the aluminium awning Just to mention a few things. It blew our 16', boat and trailer over and if not for the remains of a tree (see picture) it would be in the bay and long gone. The 14' x 14' - 2x6 pump house deck blew off its foundation and slammed into the house so hard it buckled the brickwork (see pictures). Although we sustained considerable damage I am very happy to inform you no one was hurt and our Dura-Loc roof is completely intact-with not so much as a loose shingle You said it would hold up in a tornado, I'm writing to tell you it will!
