Dear Jim: On May 8 2004, it will be one year since a Dura-Loc " shake" (terracotta colour) metal roof was installed on our house. During the installation, we had nothing but very positive comments about the new roof, which confirmed even more our thoughts that we had made the right choice! After all four seasons of weather, including a winter of one of the worst for " Ice Dam" conditions in the city, we are pleased to report that we had no problems! I might add that the roof seems quieter, warmer in winter, and cooler in summer! It's nice to know that the house will still be covered for 49 more years of the 50-year warranty! We are very pleased!
