Dear Jerry, Gary and I want you to know how pleased we both are with our new Dura-Loc roof. When choosing your product, we considered both its attractive shake-like appearance and its fire resistant qualities. We never thought it would be "put to the test" only two months after installation. When the Lemon Heights fire erupted early Oct. 21, we were more concerned about our neighbour's roof than ours. We were aware of Dura-Loc's fire resistant qualities and ability to withstand high winds. The next day we found a three foot long ember which had been on the roof almost twenty-four hours. It was still so hot to the touch that Gary had to throw it into the spa to keep from burning his hand. We'll sleep better from now on knowing that a Dura-Loc roof is over our heads.
